Business Headshot
Ciara needed a headshot to submit to her company's staff page. Since we were shooting on a white background, we advised her that if she wanted to wear something white to the session the best option would be a white or off white blouse underneath a firm black jacket. The goal is to balance the viewer's gaze so that there are no distracting visuals, and that the first thing people see when they look at the photo is the person's face. Wearing a white jacket would have made our eyes compete with her looking at her face.
