Seasonally we notice a big shift in the background colours people select. These days we’ve been having people pick a lot of darker colours. Our reasoning? We’re all so aware of the fact it’s still in winter at this point, and psychologically it’s making our mood more sensitive to bright colours. Despite this very natural urge, don’t forget to still incorporate a bit of warmth in your photo, either by smiling your way through the season or wearing some purple or red in your outfit to balance out the mood.
