We’ve done the work in studying body language to help you achieve your next best shot easily! In this business headshot session, the purpose was to get a marketing photo for real estate. As you can imagine it is a very people oriented job, so it was imperative that we nailed the open and welcoming body posture.
By simply having the subject stand with their weight on one foot, and their body slightly off centred, a direct, yet approachable demeanour is born! Cropping the image to be slightly off centred helped emphasize the friendliness by adding plenty of breathing room with slightly more background space on the left of the image.
