Kelley was starting a new job and needed a portrait for the company website. Their company needed their employees to wear red int e photo, and required a warm toned style of editing in order to match with the other staff photos on their website. Although every camera is different and it's not always possible to match the editing style exactly, we will certainly do our best to create images with the style you have in mind.

Sheldon was looking to update his website and business cards. He had his professional portrait taken several times before, but decided to try a different photographer this time. Since he wanted to use the photos in a few mediums, Sheldon chose the Standard package and experimented posing for a 3/4 length standing shot as well as the classic horizontal portrait. Instead of changing his entire outfit, he created variation by having some shots with and with out glasses. Here's our favourite shot from the session!

Donna was looking to switch jobs and get into the real estate market. She wanted a friendly portrait where she was smiling naturally. Donna got the Standard Package, so it gave her up to 1 hour of shooting and plenty of time to warm up to the camera.

It's definitely not an easy task for most to behave naturally when told to smile on command. In order to ensure we get a shot of you comfortably gleaming, we take many rounds and give you advice about what to focus on (or not focus on) along the way.

Suganja was looking to get a professional portrait as she had recently taken an interest in the real estate industry. She needed photos for her website, LinkedIn, and for marketing materials, so she chose to go for the Standard Package. She also added Hair Services to make sure everything in the image looked on point.

Hair Services are an additional cost of $50 and require ideally 1 week notice. Please note summer is the high season for all makeup artists due to wedding events, and all bookings should generally be 1 week in advance.

Steven is a math professor at U of T who needed a profile photo for his faculty page. He normally wears glasses, but we asked him if he was interested taking a couple photos without them on to add variation. Though he felt like more like himself with the glasses, to our surprise his final selection was a shot with out them!

It's no problem for us to take your portrait with and with out glasses, but we always need to know ahead of time as it requires a different lighting setup to avoid glare on the lenses.

Michelle is a financial advisor that required a headshot for her company profile. Financial advisors are naturally upbeat and friendly people, it's important for them to connect to their clientele. Thus it was necessary that Michelle get a photo that presents her approachable nature. Michelle was a natural in front of the camera, so the Quick Package ended up providing the perfect amount of time to get one photo with one outfit.

If you are unsure of which package is right for you, let us know the intention of your shoot, and your comfort level infront of the camera. We often recommend the Standard Package for those who need time to warm up and relax in front of the camera.

Madison is a recent hire at a financial company. She needed a friendly photo that could be displayed online on her company's website. Other than this being the first professional photo session she's had, she was most nervous about her smile and how it would turn out on camera. We know it is not a natural situation, so we try and help out by encouraging you to try many types of smiles and keep shooting until you find some you're happy with.

Even if you don't think anything in the photo is changing from shot to shot, you'd be amazed when looking at the results! We're confident you can find one that feels natural and right for your profile picture

Professional LinkedIn Headshot

Cassandra is a financial advisor that came into our studio with her friend and coworker, with the intention of getting professionally polished photos for their LinkedIn pages. They had been hearing positive things about LinkedIn and decided it was time to upgrade from the default profile avatar. Even though neither Cassandra or her friend were confident about getting their photo taken, the fact they did it together made the shoot light and fun, and we were able to get some great natural expressions from them.

While shooting with other people in the room isn't usually something we recommend as it tends to distract the subject, it ended up working well this time. The two friends bantered and laughed at each others blinking shots, and initially awkward facial expressions, which led to the mood changing from nervous to playful quickly into the shoot.
