Ben is a managing director who wanted to retake his business headshot. The photographer who took his current headshot, overdid the retouching and he felt it didn't represent how he looked in real life. He didn't mind it when it was viewed as a thumbnail size, but it certainly wasn't the best choice for his company's website. This was our best shot from the session, capturing a natural smile that occurred when we busted out some jokes to make him laugh.

Domenic was looking to get a headshot for his website and to update his LinkedIn page.
He debated back and forth on whether or not he should add grooming services to his package. In the end, he decided against it after we mentioned that we would take care of blemishes in post production.

In Domenic's case, since he was only concerned about a couple problem spots, it was an easy fix in photoshop. Although it's true that we do retouching on every photo, which includes taking care of redness or acne on the skin, we can't deny that it is a useful upgrade that helps people feel confident and camera ready. Still can't decide? Just let us know the details and we'll point you in the right direction!

Rebecca came in the other day and needed a quick headshot to get done, by which we mean she needed it the next day! Luckily, we were able to fit in a rush order for 3 photos in 24 hour turn around time. Let us know if there's a certain date you need your photo(s) by and we'll do our best to accommodate your request. Please enquire about rates regarding our upgraded express options.

Tammy is the Executive Director of a corporate events company, and needed some updated headshots to post on her website and use for promotional content. She booked a hair and make up artist who stayed for the session to do touchups and comb through the hair, which often gets ruffled around due to the posing and tilting. Though she brought many outfit variations, in the end she opted for a warm toned colour palette against a mature grey background.

Veroljub needed a loosely cropped simple photo to submit to his marketing team. The graphic designer needed a full resolution, colour shot that would later be cropped to a shoulders up headshot, and converted into black and white. If your employer has certain specifications for your photo, please don't hesitate to forward us all the information necessary so that we can make sure to output the file as per the requirements.

Tom was being honoured for an award in the mining industry. The planning committee required him to send in an updated headshot which would be displayed in the presentation, as well as in print and online. Since the photo was going to be used in several mediums, we sent him the final edited image in several different sizes for his convenience. The standard size we send all our clients is the full resolution image—large enough to print on a billboard if you desire!

Most websites automatically resize photos such as Linkedin or Facebook, however occasionally you may come across outdated software that requires you to resize prior to uploading. If you ever need assistance in sizing, even long after your photoshoot, please don't hesitate to ask for our help.

Darren just started his new job and wasn't able to use the headshot he had used at his previous job. He was sent to us by his company to get an updated headshot for marketing and online media. We know that getting your photo is not the easiest experience, so we offer a choice of standing or sitting portrait depending on your comfort level. Darren tried a couple of rounds sitting down, but felt standing was more natural for him. The main focus of the photoshoot is for you to feel comfortable, which gives you an end result that looks like you and feels like you!

Tania was starting her job in a week and needed to have her portrait taken to be listed on the staff page on her company's website. Like most people, she didn't like having her photo taken and wanted it to be over as soon as possible. She got our Quick Package and we ended up only shooting for 10 minutes. Nonetheless, there were still many photos for her to choose from, and she ended up letting us pick her final image as even the selection process was uncomfortable! It's times like these we joke that coming to our studio is as nerve-wracking for some people as going to the dentist :-)
