We shot this lovely young lady's themed portrait the other week. Her fashion reference photo was that of a poofy dress like in the Disney movies, however as our research suggested, we would need to get a specific device to create that shape (which is only supported by one particular type of gown). With that plan out of the water, it was time to improvise–we got the most magical blush pink dress we could find, and with a sprinkle of glitter, a dash of a tiara, and and mounds of volume in post production, a princess was born!
Fashion Portrait
The other day we shot a local model who wanted to update his portfolio by adding photos that have more of a editorial styling. His current portfolio consisted of many commercial portraits on lighter backgrounds. We kept the darker colours monochromatic and added some intrigue with a patterned tee under the blazer.
Professional Business Portrait
Rob is a Sex Therapist who wanted to give his established company a facelift with some new marketing material and professional headshots. He got the exclusive package so we had ultimate flexibility with shooting time in order to cover all the bases (close up, far away, standing, 3/4, sitting, etc).
Outdoor Portrait Session
Sunny weather is finally here! Now accepting bookings for outdoor portrait, business, and fashion photoshoots. For no additional fee, we can shoot in the vicinity of the studio, which encompasses the Corktown, Canary, and Leslieville. This lovely shot was taken last year in the Underpass Park just steps from our set. Though it may not look like it, we cleaned up the background quite a bit (including deleting some passerbyers)!
Corporate / Business Headshot
Laine booked a standard package to get some updated business headshots. He took advantage of the 40 minute shooting time and brought several shirts and jackets to change several times in order to get the most variation. Our camera's special quality is how it brings out colours naturally. Get creative and bring lots of options to try out! Tight on time? We have options for extended shooting in case you find yourself needing a little more.
Professional Fashion Portrait
In this fashion session, we aimed for an edgy yet feminine look, incorporating mermaid like waves in her hair complementing her top lining. We kept the colours warm and cool to both blend into the background and pop out against. Our makeup artist even cleverly matched the eyeshadow to her top!

We supplied her with two outfits and one hair and make up look since she got he fashion package.
