Call to Bar Professional Graduation Portrait

Donna is a recent bar of call graduate. She had a couple photos already of her taken in her gown, however was not satisfied with the results (as they were snapshots then by a friend). She was looking to get a portrait that she could print out and frame, and decided to give us a call and set up a 1 hour session.

Donna chose the standard package so she could have a variation of photos she could send to family, or print out. We're pleased to have helped capture this memory for her and wish her the best of the future.

Jean Francois needed his business portrait taken to use in print and online marketing mediums. We suggested that he book the Standard package, which includes up to 1 hour of shooting time and 3 edited photos. Our quick package is perfect for someone needing a simple headshot to place online, but if you're planning on marketing yourself more in depth, it definitely helps to have a couple professional photos handy to use where you see fit. With 3 photos, Jean Francois can use one on his business card, another on his company site, and another for personal or online use.

The standard package is great for those who get nervous in front of the camera. There's less time pressure, which means more time for you to relax, and get a natural expression. Take your time changing between looks, touching up your hair or makeup, and browse through the photos already taken to narrow down what you like and don't like.

Business Linkedin and Corporate Headshots

Hady was recently employed at a new job, and needed a headshot for the company's website. 
He had specific photo requirements based off the other staff pictures. One angle, a particular lighting style, and against a white backdrop. We were able to recreate the same lighting as had been done in their previous employee head shots, so that it would synonymous.

Business Corporate and Portrait Photographer

Due to the increasing demand for online web presence, Kim's employer asked her to get her headshot taken for the company website. Getting your photo taken is generally not something one would do from their own free will, as the thought of posing for the camera can be quite daunting. Kim was no exception. Though she came in nervous, after a couple rounds of shooting and viewing the results instantly on the large monitor, she was surprised to see she was looking better than she expected! 

Almost no one likes their photo getting taken, not even us! But whether it's for memory or a necessary business endeavour, having a high quality image of yourself can be beneficial in many ways. The key to a winning portrait is the combination of a relaxed and natural expression. Since we periodically checked the monitor, she could feel more at ease when she realized a couple of them had already turned out nice, even before the shoot was over. 

Professional Business and Corporate Staff Headshots

We had the pleasure of dressing up Dundarave Dental's website by taking portraits of their staff and office space. Dr Gabor Balogh's practice began in West Vancouver in 1995. His friendly approach to the over so intimidating field of dentistry make his clients feel at ease in the presence of his wonderful team.

Our task was to connect people to his practice through clean and approachable images. Previously, his website's imagery solely consisted of bright smiles and pearly whites, but was lacking a personal touch. In a world that's focusing more and more on the online world, it's key to draw your audience through this medium.

Professional Studio Portrait Dancer

Alexandra is a professional dancer and singer. Though she's had her headshot taken before, due to an unfortunate collapse of her computer, all of her data was lost. With an upcoming audition to dance for the Toronto Blue Jays, she had a couple days to retake her photo in time for the application. Since she booked the standard package, we were able to honour her request to have the 3 images within a day of the shoot. 

Please note that in the case of exclusive packages (which consist of more than 3 images), editing time may be longer than those of standard and quick packages. Typical editing time is 1-2 weeks, but we try our best to accommodate special requests given the situation. 

LinkedIn Corporate and Business Headshots

Madeline came to us looking to update her casual LinkedIn profile picture. We shot a couple rounds with her first outfit change, a plain black shirt, and periodically checked to see how the images were turning out on the big monitor. She was really pleased with how she looked, and was hesitant to switch outfits as the blazer may make her look stiff. Although we had a lot of good shots to choose from already, we still encouraged Madeline to try on the blazer. A subtle change in shape can alter what the image is communicating. 

To our surprise, her final image selection ended up being from the second look! In the end, the jacket felt more professional than a simple black shirt. While others may charge for outfit changes, we offer unlimited changes for no extra cost. Our goal is for you to have a photo you will be happy with, so we encourage all of our clients to bring 2-3 options for the best results.
