Ron is the CEO of a company that recently branched out from Tokyo to Toronto. He is launching his new Canadian website and needed some photos for marketing purposes. We love his vivid blue and tieless look for a modern take on an approachable look.
Outdoor Portrait
Throwback to when we shot Brianna back in the fall (when the temperature was still mild enough to wear a skirt!). We love this underpass park for the bit of pop it adds in the background, as well as all the concrete. Having a seat allowed her to pose comfortably and naturally. The park was big enough that our shoot felt private even though it was in a public space. Get in touch with us if you wish to enquire about shooting you session outdoors!
Fashion Portrait
Kayla booked our Standard Fashion Package and got the full deal when it came to hair, makeup, and fashion services, with 3 final looks and 5 final images. Enough to get her wheels rolling in the world of modelling. This was her first photoshoot apart from shoots she had done with friends. She was anxious but had a great attitude and enjoyed seeing the photos in between rounds to calm her nerves. This was a dress from a bohemian look we did in the last round. She ended up buying the dress off us she loved it so much!
Location Portrait
Sukie is a 3rd year university student and wanted some polished photos in outfits ranging from corporate to casual. We outside in natural light so that the photos would feel more organic. We added brightness in the editing process, giving it a fresh and cheerful impression. The natural wind that day was nothing but helpful!
Acting Headshot
Kat wanted to apply to agencies to be an actress. She brought in a variety of options that were classy to casual, all in white against our white background. She thought white would be the best look for her since it is fresh, energetic, and happy, which was the exact energy she gave in her photos. We shot Kat’s photo horizontally, but it could easily be cropped into a vertical format. Unless by specific request, we always cover both oretations when it comes to our shooting style.
Portrait Session
Min wanted a sharp photo of himself that he could give to his parents as a gift. We shot on our off white background lighting him with our classic soft studio lighting for a gentler first impression.
Portrait Session
Beryl is turning 90 this year and she came to our photo studio to get her portrait taken. She got the standard package which gave her 3 variations. She ordered all the images to be printed in 8 x 10 format so that she could use them as a gift for her son. Though she wasn't fond of having her picture taken, she was happy we could make the process easy for her. She forgot to get her roots touched up for our session so she asked if we could colour her hair in photoshop. It was no problem for us to make it look natural of course!
Fashion Portrait Headshots
Anthony was looking to get into acting and modelling and just got signed with an agency. We had the pleasure of taking photos of him in his very first photoshoot. We chose modern casual garments with a bit of bite to them. We tried a variety of poses with different chairs, and later headed outside for a couple shots to add background variety. He was very polite and always minded the clothing whenever he sat on something outside as to not get it dirty. We wish you all the best of luck in the future!
