Stefana wanted a LinkedIn headshot that didn’t look the same as everyone else taken on a studio background. She attached many references depicting a bright and somewhat overexposed scenario, whereby her face was more dimly lit. We incorporated the usage of window light and filled in any unwanted shadows with a soft studio light. The result turned out great, and we were able to take advantage of the old characteristics of our studio well!

James came in for a Minimal Package and left feeling at ease about the smoothness of the entire process. We don’t just stop there, we take that smoothness into the editing process and take care of any imperfections such an unwanted clothing wrinkles that may appear distracting when shown in high resolution. And of course, it goes without question that we naturally smooth out the skin as well! Not that James didn’t already have that aspect naturally flawless.

We love how minimalist crisp this portrait of Stacy turned out! She brought some great clean cut options. One of our little wardrobe tips is don’t be afraid to show some skin/. The nice thing about the Standard Package is she had two outfits changes to mix and match tonalities and add interest. As us today what package is right for you!

Here’s a cute headshot for a an actress we shot the other month. It’s always fun to shoot actors when they use their craft in the session to bring out evocative expressions. We love how soft she was in this particular shot!

Alana is celebrating her 40th birthday this week and came in for a photoshoot not too long ago to commemorate her milestone. She got hair and makeup services which ensured that she look “picture perfect.” She brought a bunch of wardrobe to set to play around with and we helped style her with what she brought. We are loving this warm toned yellow dress that complements her skin tone and hair colour really well.

Throwback to this family portrait session we had where we captured cute little Mia getting ready for her first day of “real” school. She looks very calm in this photo but she was so energetic the entire time. Most of the photoshoot we spent prepping her energy for the camera by playing together on set with bubbles, pom poms—even Tickle me Elmo made an appearance!

It’s all in the details. Though subtle, that does not define it’s power, for example, check out the lint effect on this suit (unrelated: it makes for easier editing since it disappears any dust marks perfectly!). We also love the subtle monochromatic detail on the slim cut tie, and the additional vest layer. At the end of the day, preparing wardrobe like this comes by either you purchasing our styling service or simply have to chalk it up to the person’s taste, of which Chris had lots of.

We love this little private alleyway to give a nice rustic and warm, yellow brick background. A refreshing new taste on the classic red brick that we often use. As the season changes, the lighting in this little gem of a spot changes with us. Keep posted for how our outdoor portraits get along this fall!
