We are open from morning to night, available to come to your office whenever works for your staff the best. Have us set up in a slice of your office for an exciting staff photo day! Why not make an event out of it by marketing it to the team as something fun and beneficial for them? We find that when people are told about the shoot ahead of time, the nerves can be converted into excitement as they have time to prepare themselves beforehand. A blow out or fresh hair cut can make all the difference in feeling confident that you got a great shot.

We didn’t have to travel far to achieve this change of scenery here in Corktown. Just minutes away by foot we are fortunate enough to be situated by the Corktown Common. Sounding more like a grocery store, the Corktown Common is a recently built park (and natural eco system/flood prevention site to boot) that highlights the area of the city known as the Para Olympic Village, just south of the studio.

Don’t quote me on this but I do believe the Canary District (which lies just south west) is the newest district added to the city of Toronto. That being said, isn’t it a surprise that we could find something with a little rustic charm like this old barn door? The scenery around the area may be largely condo driven, but there are a few historical remnants that got preserved along the way.

We have our classic recipe that we serve for headshots in our studio setting, but feel free to challenge the norm and create more variation, exploring what’s possible indoors. The great thing about this environment is you have complete control in all aspects, so if you have something in mind, it’s relatively easy to recreate the lighting setup.

Just because you’re using your image for Linkedin, doesn’t mean you have to dress like you’re a google image search result. We love how Mahon, who is a recent graduate of architecture by the way, wore this casual but professional cardigan and relaxed collared shirt combination. The colour palette is still very reserved, with there being no real colour except for the blue tint we added later in photoshop for some emotional flavouring!

For almost all of our packages, you can bring an outfit change with you. Instead of bringing in an array of suits, why not completely change it up and bring some casual clothes to change into? We have plenty of backgrounds that change the mood up from navy to green, or even warm shades like beige and yellow.

Don’t know where to start? We make things easy and send you examples of the portraits against each background colour beforehand so you can visualize what things will look like on the day of. In this case, Shouvik picked navy blue for his casual shot, which we then further tweaked in photoshop to be a more low key desaturated shade.

We had the opportunity to visit National Bank Investments to update their staff headshots. They had some senior staff that needed to have a reshoot and there were some new hires to the company. We set up in the corner of a meeting room they had allowed us to us in privacy for the 2 hours we were there. One by one staff had 5-10 minutes to get their best smiles on, which allowed us enough time for up to 2 rounds of shooting if they liked. Unlike other photographers, we take more than just a few clicks. We cover every angle so that there are no regrets afterwards, and you can be sure that your team is going to get a headshot they love!

Nick had been putting off getting his headshot taken for a few months. Though he had worked so hard to avoid it, he could finally no longer run from the camera. Recently he had won an award and was being honoured for it. With a request for a professional high quality headshot on his radar, he decided to contact us for a quick in-and-out Minimal Package session.

One strategy he took was booking the quickest package, and purchasing the rights to all the unedited images. That way he maximized the amount of content he got from the session, allowing him to have photos to use for a variety of purposes, all the while keeping the most painful photoshoot part short and sweet.
