Acting Headshot
Kat wanted to apply to agencies to be an actress. She brought in a variety of options that were classy to casual, all in white against our white background. She thought white would be the best look for her since it is fresh, energetic, and happy, which was the exact energy she gave in her photos. We shot Kat’s photo horizontally, but it could easily be cropped into a vertical format. Unless by specific request, we always cover both oretations when it comes to our shooting style.
Min wanted a sharp photo of himself that he could give to his parents as a gift. We shot on our off white background lighting him with our classic soft studio lighting for a gentler first impression.
Portrait Session
Beryl is turning 90 this year and she came to our photo studio to get her portrait taken. She got the standard package which gave her 3 variations. She ordered all the images to be printed in 8 x 10 format so that she could use them as a gift for her son. Though she wasn't fond of having her picture taken, she was happy we could make the process easy for her. She forgot to get her roots touched up for our session so she asked if we could colour her hair in photoshop. It was no problem for us to make it look natural of course!
On Location Shoot
Anthony was looking to get into acting and modelling and just got signed with an agency. We had the pleasure of taking photos of him in his very first photoshoot. We chose modern casual garments with a bit of bite to them. We tried a variety of poses with different chairs, and later headed outside for a couple shots to add background variety. He was very polite and always minded the clothing whenever he sat on something outside as to not get it dirty. We wish you all the best of luck in the future!
Studio Portrait
Isabel found our photography through Yugo's personal website, and was so impressed with his attention to details, she decided book a portrait session for herself. She loved how polished and natural the editing he does in his fashion photos. In addition to editing her skin to be glowing, by her request we also altered her bangs to appear more full and straightened out some of her natural waviness. Hope you are happy with the results photoshoot with us Isabel!
Professional Portrait
Angelique chose our off white background and wore a bright white top to come off as friendly as possible. We love how much high energy white adds to the photo, but you definitely need to consider the brightness of your clothes on camera. Shirts you thought were white may even appear as cream! Not to worry, every image gets colour adjusted to match what you see in reality, only more polished.
On Location Shoot
Sabrina got our Exclusive Package which allowis d her up to 80 mins of indoor/outdoor shooting time. We shot in the studio first and since we were able to see how the photos were turning out on our large monitor, we could make as many adjustments as necessary. She had beauty services included in her package, which gave her a glowing complexion throughout the shoot (and also involved us getting our daily cardio in running over to smooth out her curls from time to time)!
Professional Portrait
Ganna popped in for a quick and clean headshot that she needed to get done for her new job. We used our signature soft lighting set up which shaded the left side of her face enough to provide definition, and and gently enough to be flattering against the skin. We loved how she wore this sleeveless dress, which showed a modest amount of skin while still remaining formal.
