Acting Headshot

Grace got recently signed to an agent, and needed to get some images for her online portfolio. She was looking into getting into modelling or acting, so we tried a variety of poses with her within the headshot realm and the fashion realm. With unlimited outfit changes, we were also able to photograph her in a variety of styles that would help show diversity in her book.

Beyond our portrait services, we offer fashion portfolio and acting/talent head shots as well! We have experience shooting new models and new "faces" and help coach and guide you throughout the session. If you require more assistance, please let us know the details of your enquiry for a custom quote.

Professional LinkedIn Headshot

Cassandra is a financial advisor that came into our studio with her friend and coworker, with the intention of getting professionally polished photos for their LinkedIn pages. They had been hearing positive things about LinkedIn and decided it was time to upgrade from the default profile avatar. Even though neither Cassandra or her friend were confident about getting their photo taken, the fact they did it together made the shoot light and fun, and we were able to get some great natural expressions from them.

While shooting with other people in the room isn't usually something we recommend as it tends to distract the subject, it ended up working well this time. The two friends bantered and laughed at each others blinking shots, and initially awkward facial expressions, which led to the mood changing from nervous to playful quickly into the shoot.

Corporate Business Headshots

Linda came to our studio with the intention of getting a professional portrait of herself to use for an article that she was being interviewed for. Linda booked the Standard Package which gave her plenty of shooting time, and 3 final edited images. She took the liberty of bringing in several clothing options so that she could get a different outfit for each photo. Even though her intention was to get a professional photo for the article, the extra shooting time and additional images allowed for her to get more casual and dressy photos she could use for other uses.

Just because you need a business portrait taken doesn't mean you need to necessarily bring 3 shirt and jacket changes. Feel free to bring other styles of clothing. Dress your portrait up or dress it down, the choice is up to you!

Modelling Portfolio Photoshoot

Maria came from Columbia to immerse herself in learning english. She simultaneously decided to explore the modelling industry, and needed some portfolio photos to get her book started. She had modelled a couple times before back in her home town, but still appreciated our guidance in posing as she's never had a studio photoshoot before.

Our fashion packages are perfect for aspiring or new models, or for models you want to update their look. We help models of all experience build their portfolio. Let us know what look you'd like to have, or leave the styling up to us.

Fashion Photoshoot

Chris was in the midst of planning a fashion blog, and wanted to get some professional and stylish photos of himself as content. He got the exclusive package which includes two full outfits prepared by our fashion stylist, grooming, and 5 final edited photos. We tried a variety of poses, and different crops such as close up, portrait, full body, and sitting.

Since the fashion package includes styling services, you have the option of specifying what type of style you are looking to get. Wavy or straight hair, trendy or minimalist style, we will do our best to style you your way. Alternatively, we have lots of experience selecting clothing for models based on their strengths and characteristics. In Chris' case, he saw how we styled other male models in our portfolio, and was comfortable letting us choose the clothing based what we felt suited him.

Jenya is starting a new job as a junior business analyst and needed to have her portrait taken to add to her company's website. We were able to analyze the current employee gallery and deliver a photo that blends in with the others.

Some companies require their employees to have head shots that are uploaded online for web presence. If you require this type of service, please let us know and we will arrange it so that the lighting will be consistent, even if the photos were taken by other photographers!

Professional Business Headshot

Jon was required by his job to get a professional portrait taken that would be used in media releases. Jon already had a photo of himself that was currently being used, which was taken against a white wall in the office. These days, people are valuing photography and video more than ever, as visual information increases in value.

Jon took our quick session package, and in less than 30 minutes he had a brushed up photo that could submit anywhere in confidence.

Corporate Business Portrait

Nate had never had his portrait taken professionally before, as is the case for most. Since it was a new process for him, he wanted to make sure he had enough time to get what he was looking for. Our standard package offers up to 1 hour of shooting, which allows for more warm up time, more outfit changes, and more edited photos in the end. When he arrived, he mentioned that consultation was important to him. He wasn't sure how each outfit would read on camera. Since we had plenty of time, we got to try out three outfit variations, which he helped select for him.

In the end, Nate chose one final image from each wardrobe change, which left him with plenty of options for usage on different mediums.
